Social media posts for real estate agents, written in your voice and posted for you
Tell Contendo about a listing, a sale or what your market is doing. It writes the post the way you would say it and publishes it to your accounts. Nothing goes out until you approve it.

How it works

Step 1
Tell us about your business
Your name, the areas you cover, the kind of clients you work with and how you like to sound. It takes a few minutes and you only do it once.

Step 2
Give us the details, get the post
Pick the kind of post, such as a new listing or a market update, and type in the facts. Contendo writes the post from what you gave it, and leaves out what you didn't.

Step 3
Approve it and it's posted
Read the post, change anything you like, then publish it now, schedule it, or add it to your queue. It goes to the accounts you choose.
Example posts
These posts were generated by Contendo from made-up details. The agent, the homes and the neighborhoods are fictional.
Example post · New listing
There's a mature apple tree in the back garden of our newest Oakmere listing. The garden's fenced, too. Three bedrooms, two baths, on a quiet street in Oakmere. Original oak floors. A kitchen that was redone last year. Oakmere Elementary is ten minutes away on foot. Listed at $415,000. Open house this Saturday, 11 to 2. You can redo a kitchen. You can't rush an apple tree.
Example post · Just sold
Our newest homeowners moved exactly two streets. They're a couple who'd been renting in Mill Pond. And they wanted to stay in Mill Pond. So that's where they bought. We just closed on a two bedroom bungalow in the Mill Pond neighborhood of Wrenfield. It's their first home. It was on the market for nine days. For a bit of context, Wrenfield homes took a median of 18 days to go under contract in September. Well priced homes still move fast, though buyers have a little more choice than they did in spring. This one didn't wait around. Here's what I keep coming back to. A first home doesn't have to mean a fresh start somewhere new. Sometimes it just means making the street you already love officially yours. The best first move can be a very short one.
Example post · Market update
More homes sold in Wrenfield this September than last, and buyers still got a bit more breathing room. Here's what our own closed sales and the local listing service showed. 41 homes sold, up from 33 last September. Median price: $398,000. Median time to go under contract: 18 days. The number most people skip is months of supply. Think of it like a bakery shelf near closing time. If nobody baked another loaf, how long until it's empty? At the end of September, Wrenfield had 96 homes for sale, about two months of supply. So the shelf isn't bare, but it isn't overflowing either. That's why buyers have a little more choice than they did in spring. Homes priced right still move fast, though. Busy sales and more choice can happen in the same month. Worth watching next is whether that shelf keeps filling or starts emptying again.
Example post · Neighborhood spotlight
In Oakmere, the sourdough is usually gone by ten. That's the bakery on Alder Street, and it tells you a lot about the place. Oakmere sits on the east side of Wrenfield. Mostly houses from the 1950s and 1960s, on wide streets lined with trees. Here's the easiest way I can explain it. Think of a kitchen where everything you reach for is right next to where you're standing. Oakmere Elementary is in the middle of the neighborhood, so a lot of kids walk to school. The riverside path starts at the end of Alder Street. And from May to October, there's a Saturday farmers market in Oakmere Green. Why does that matter? Because when things are close, walking stops being a plan and just becomes how you get around. Small thing, big difference in how a week feels. One tip if you visit: get to Alder Street early if you want that sourdough. A neighborhood shows you its rhythm long before it shows you its houses.
Example post · Buyer and seller tips
A longer list of repair requests can actually get you less from a seller. My advice to first-time buyers is simple. Read the whole inspection report before you ask for anything. Then sort what it finds into three piles. Safety problems. Things that'll cost real money in the next few years, like a roof or a furnace. Small fixes. Ask the seller about the first two piles. Let the third one go. Think of a seller's goodwill like a tank of gas. Every request burns a little of it. Spend it on a sticky drawer and there's less left when you get to the furnace. That's why I sit down with every buyer and go through the report line by line. A long list of small requests makes a seller less willing to help with the big ones. The small stuff is real, but it's rarely worth what it costs you at the table.

Questions agents ask
- Will the posts sound like me?
- That is the point of it. You tell Contendo how you like to sound, and it writes from your own notes and details rather than from a template. You can edit any post before it goes out, and you can change your tone settings at any time.
- Can I approve posts before they are published?
- Yes, always. Contendo never publishes on its own. Every post waits for you to choose Publish, Schedule or Add to queue, and you can cancel a scheduled post any time before it goes out.
- Will it make up details about my listings?
- It is built not to. Posts are written from what you tell Contendo: your business profile, your notes and the details you type in for each post. If you leave out the price, the post leaves out the price. You also read every post before it goes out, so nothing is published that you haven't checked.
- Can I cancel?
- Yes, at any time, from the billing page in your settings. Your posts and connected accounts stay where they are, and you can keep writing posts on the free plan.
- What does it cost?
- Writing posts is free for 10 posts a month, and you can copy them and post them yourself. Publishing and scheduling are part of the Pro plan.
