Using Contendo

These terms cover your use of Contendo, operated by Contendo. By using the service, you agree to these terms and our privacy policy. You must be an adult who can enter a contract and have authority to act for any business or social account you connect. Questions can be sent to contendoai@gmail.com.

Your account and content

Keep your sign-in details secure and tell us if your account is compromised. Provide accurate account and business information. You remain responsible for the material you upload, the instructions you give, the rights needed to use that material and your published content.

You keep your rights in your source material and posts. You give us permission to store, process, search and transform that material, and send it to the service providers described in our privacy policy, as needed to provide Contendo. Connecting a social account authorizes publishing only as you approve it. Do not upload private or copyrighted material without permission.

AI drafts and factual review

Contendo uses AI, currently Anthropic’s Claude API, to create drafts and check claims against your sources. AI can omit context, invent details or make mistakes even after a check. A draft or a passed check is not a guarantee of accuracy, originality, legal compliance or suitability.

Read the final text before approving it. Correct unsupported claims or explicitly accept each flagged claim after checking it yourself. You are responsible for verifying listing facts, prices, client information, permissions and advertising requirements that apply to your business. Contendo does not provide legal, financial or professional advice.

Publishing and connected accounts

You choose the accounts and approve the exact final text before publishing now, scheduling or adding it to a queue. A change to the text or media requires a new approval. There is no option to publish unreviewed drafts automatically.

Publishing uses Zernio and the social platforms you connect. Their terms and platform rules also apply. Posts can be delayed, rejected or removed, and connections can expire. We cannot guarantee publication at a particular time, reach, engagement, sales or results. You can cancel a waiting job before it starts and disconnect accounts in Settings. A post already sent to a platform may need to be removed there.

Plans, payments and cancellation

Free and paid plans have limits shown in the product. Pro pricing, any trial, renewal interval and applicable taxes are shown before checkout. Stripe processes payment and manages subscriptions. Subscriptions renew as described at checkout unless canceled. You can manage billing and cancellation in Settings → Billing through Stripe’s portal; it shows when a change takes effect.

Publishing may pause when a payment fails and pending jobs may be canceled when a subscription ends. Canceling a plan does not delete your drafts, memory or account. For billing questions or refund requests, contact us. Any rights to refunds or cancellation required by law continue to apply.

Acceptable use

Do not use Contendo for unlawful, deceptive or abusive content, spam, impersonation, privacy violations or infringement of others’ rights. Do not bypass plan limits, access other users’ information or interfere with the service. We may restrict or suspend access to protect users, comply with law or address misuse; we will give notice where practical and required.

Availability and ending your use

We work to keep Contendo available, but interruptions, changes and third-party failures can occur. You may stop using the service, cancel your subscription and request deletion of your account by emailing contendoai@gmail.com. Deletion and retained records are described in the privacy policy. Copy any content you want to keep before requesting deletion.

Responsibility and your legal rights

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without a promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit every purpose. We are responsible for our obligations under applicable law; you remain responsible for decisions about your content and connected accounts. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that the law does not allow us to exclude.

Changes and contact
